Programme
The Department of Pharmacy at the University of Rasul offers a five-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) program designed in alignment with national standards and contemporary international developments in pharmacy education. The program is committed to developing ethical, competent, and innovative pharmacy professionals equipped to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare sector. The curriculum integrates pharmaceutical sciences, clinical practice, experiential learning, and emerging areas of healthcare, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital health.
Students gain practical experience through hospital rotations, clinical training, pharmaceutical manufacturing on industrial scale, community pharmacy training, simulation- based learning, and hands-on laboratory work. The program prepares graduates for diverse career pathways in hospitals, community pharmacies, pharmaceutical industry units, regulatory affairs, clinical and forensic research, drug testing laboratories, federal and provincial healthcare organizations, academia, and other pharmacy-related fields.
The Department promotes research and innovation across specialized areas of pharmacy, including pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutics, pharmacology and pharmacy practice. Graduates are equipped with knowledge and skills relevant to pharmaceutical research and practice, including drug discovery, formulation design and development, clinical trials, quality assurance, pharmacovigilance, and advanced drug- delivery technologies.
Through quality education, research, experiential learning, and professional training, the Department of Pharmacy aims to prepare graduates who can contribute meaningfully to public health, patient-centered care, pharmaceutical innovation, and the development of sustainable healthcare systems.

Admissions
Higher Secondary School Certificate (involving 12 years of schoolin@ or an IBCC equivalent qualification in Pre—MedicaL Group with at least 600/0 cumulative score is the basic eligibility requirement for admission in the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D) program. The admitting university may or may not conduct entry / admission test through its own testing body or an external testing services provider of repute as per thc screening, admission and merit calculation criteria approved by its statutory bodies.
