Category 1 requires 3.5 CGPA, Categories 2 & 3 require 3.0 CGPA to continue after the second semester. Other categories require 2.7 CGPA per semester; sports-based scholarships require 2.0. Physically challenged students are exempt from the CGPA requirement.
Students must be enrolled full-time with a complete semester credit-hour load to remain eligible.
Scholarships apply only for the standard duration of the degree program. Students exceeding standard duration or taking extra semesters become ineligible; a semester freeze is allowed without penalty.
Students may hold only one internal UOR scholarship at a time (merit-based semester/annual awards are exempt). External scholarship rules override internal rules where the donor specifies.
Scholarships that provide hostel accommodation do not include meal charges.
A scholarship may be terminated if the student does not comply with the rules and conditions of the awarded category.
