Dr. Rabia is an Associate Professor and Chairperson at the Department of Economics and Policy Analysis, University of Rasul, Mandi Bahaudin, with over 17 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic service. Her areas of academic expertise include Health Economics, Public Policy, Advanced Microeconomics, Labor Economics, and Mathematical Economics. Dr. Rabia began her academic career from Fatima Jinnah Women University in 2007 and joined Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan in 2010. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi, where she was awarded a Silver Medal, and completed her MPhil and PhD in Economics from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. Her PhD specialization is in Health Economics, and her doctoral research examined the role of Conditional Cash Transfers in promoting maternal and child health in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Her research focuses primarily on health and public policy, with particular emphasis on maternal and child health, social protection, early childhood development, and the evaluation of public policy interventions. Through her academic and research work, Dr. Rabia is committed to advancing evidence-based economic research and strengthening the contribution of economics to public policy and social development.
