Dr. Sehrish Khan is an educationist and teacher educator with extensive experience in higher education, teacher education, and academic leadership. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, University of Rasul, Mandi Bahauddin. She previously served as Assistant Professor and Director of the Education Department at GIFT University, Gujranwala, where she contributed to teaching, academic administration, curriculum development, and faculty coordination. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, with research focused on quality of education in universities and affiliated colleges. Her academic experience includes teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervising research scholars, and contributing to academic and professional development initiatives. She has participated in national and international academic and professional development activities, including the International Congress held in Morocco. Her professional interests include teacher education, higher education, educational leadership, quality education, and the integration of emerging technologies in education.
Dr. Sehrish Khan’s research interests primarily focus on quality education, teacher education, and higher education, with particular emphasis on improving teaching and learning practices. Her research examines quality assurance and educational standards within higher education institutions and affiliated colleges. She is also interested in teacher professional development, pedagogical practices, and innovative approaches to enhancing learning outcomes. Her emerging research interests include educational leadership and management, technology integration, and the application of Artificial Intelligence in education. She is particularly interested in exploring how digital technologies can support teachers, improve educational practices, and enhance institutional effectiveness. Her research also encompasses learner support, learning environments, assessment practices, and contemporary challenges in education. Through her research, she aims to contribute to evidence-based educational practices and the continuous improvement of teacher education and higher education systems.
